What CAT score is required for MBA HRD DSE admission?

There is no fixed minimum CAT percentile published for MBA HRD DSE. The shortlisting cutoff varies each year based on the applicant pool. However, a competitive CAT percentile significantly improves your chances, as CAT score carries 50% weightage in the composite merit score. Aim for the highest percentile possible.

Is CAT mandatory for MBA HRD DSE admission?

Yes. Appearing in CAT 2025 is mandatory for all Indian applicants seeking admission to MBA HRD at Delhi School of Economics. Your CAT score accounts for 50% of the final composite merit score used for shortlisting and admission decisions.

Can final-year undergraduate students apply?

Yes. Students appearing in the final year of their bachelor's degree are eligible to apply. However, admission will be conditional on meeting the minimum graduation marks requirement (50% aggregate). Your final marksheet/degree must be submitted before the document verification deadline.

How is the MBA HRD merit list prepared?

The final merit list is based on a 100-point composite score: CAT 2025 (50%), PI + Extempore (20%), GD (10%), Class X marks (10%), and Class XII marks (10%). Women candidates receive an additional 5-mark bonus. Candidates are ranked by composite score within their respective categories.

Can programme preferences be changed after application?

Programme preferences submitted at the time of application are not changed after submission. It is important to carefully consider and enter your preference order at the time of filling the application form on the official portal.

Is MBA HRD DSE a full-time programme?

Yes. MBA HRD at Delhi School of Economics is a two-year, full-time management programme. Classes are held on the North Campus of the University of Delhi. Part-time or distance learning options are not available under this programme.
