CORPORATE RELATION TEAM

About Us

Corporate Relations Team liaises between the corporate world and the student community. The basic purpose of the Placement Committee is to manage all the placement-related activities at DSE MHROD. It also ensures the readiness of fellow participants for the corporate world.

The Placement Committee, DSE MBA-HRD, is a team of highly motivated and dedicated individuals who selflessly and relentlessly work for the overall institutional goal of inviting reputed companies and providing desired placement offers to students based on their personal field of interest. The Committee supervises and manages the whole placement process, which includes interacting with the HR representatives of Corporate Organizations, arranging a meeting with them, arranging the necessary infrastructure to conduct the placement drive, and conducting and holding the on and off-campus placements. Apart from this, the committee plays an important role in developing and maintaining a sustainable and long-term relationship with the corporate world via a plethora of engagement initiatives like Live Projects (Domestic/International), Summits, Corporate Competitions, and Netratva (our leadership talk series). The Placement Cell is entrusted with the highly crucial task of selecting, inviting and following up with the various corporate with along with the industrial training which helps in the overall grooming of the students. CRT is fully committed to attending to the individual needs of our students and ensuring they achieve desired platforms for launching their professional careers. They help students define their career goals and guide them on the technical and soft skills required to market themselves effectively to target employers. At the same time, the CRT keeps in touch with potential recruiters & tracks their future requirements to better prepare our students for summer and final recruitment opportunities.

Annual Outreach Programme

Outreach is conducted annually by Corporate Relations Team to cover major companies in Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi and NCR region including Private Sector as well as Government Enterprises. The aim of this program is to enhance the student-corporate relationship. Placement Committee Members interact with the corporates while introducing them to the institute, to the potential of students and various student activities conducted at the institute. It also gives the CRT an insight into the current trends and norms in the industry, helping the students to prepare themselves for the challenges they would face on entering the industry as a fresher. Some major names like Indus ICICI Bank, IBM, DE Shaw, Ericsson, TCS, HCL, Ernst & Young, NXP, Novartis, Jubilant Life Sciences, Godrej Agrovet, Aon Hewitt, HPCL, GAIL, Arcesium, HDFC Life, Puma, Cargill, Sapient have been covered in the previous Outreach program.

Pragyata - A Corporate Talk Series

PRAGYATA is a first-of-its-kind, unique and outcome-oriented series, through which CRT aims to generate maximum ROI in terms of opportunities for our students. This was initiated in the year 2020 as a predominant objective as MHROD celebrated 25 years since its establishment. We have planned to partner with prominent Alumni bases and Top HR Leaders from different industries for the coming Placement Season 2022-23. It is a talk Series with first-rate Corporate Exposure for enhancing the specific skillsets and abilities of the students required during the placement process at the campus.

Business Professionals interact with students and indulge in deep deliberations and revealing insights from the industry on topics such as:

● Guiding the students on skillsets and abilities required during the placement process.

●Helping the students in profile building for specific Job roles such as HRBP, Talent Acquisition, Employee     Relationship Manager, Rewards Partner, etc. (will try to cover every major HR role)

● Enlightening the students on how to chase the corporate ladder and maintain sustainability in the organization.

● Organisational Development Interventions happened in various HR Policies/Practices.

● Navigating the future workplace – Competencies needed for the Jobs of the future.

● Exploring Consulting opportunities

● HR Technology paradigms in the post-pandemic Business Era.
